Purpose
An accessibility statement communicates information about the accessibility of a digital service, including known limitations and ways users can obtain assistance or provide feedback.
Evidence matters
Where an AAI statement is based on completed assessment activity, the underlying scans, audits and verification records provide important context for the claims being made.
Do not overstate assurance
A statement should accurately reflect the evidence available. Installing an accessibility widget or running only an automated scan does not by itself establish full WCAG conformance.
