What a Developer Action is
A Developer Action is structured remediation work created from accessibility evidence.
Its purpose is to give the developer enough context to understand the affected page, the problem and what will need to be verified after the change.
Developer workflow
- Review the problem and evidence.
- Identify the affected code or component.
- Apply the remediation.
- Record useful implementation notes where appropriate.
- Send the work for review or retesting.
Do not close work simply because code changed
Accessibility remediation should be verified. A code change is not evidence that the original failure is resolved until the relevant test has been repeated.
