Purpose
The AAI Accessibility Widget provides optional personalisation tools that visitors can use to adjust aspects of their browsing experience.
Examples of adjustments
- Text and spacing adjustments.
- Reading and focus aids.
- Contrast and visual-support options.
- Cursor and link visibility options.
- Support profiles that apply groups of user-controlled adjustments.
The widget is not a compliance shortcut
A widget can support individual visitors, but it does not repair inaccessible source code and does not replace accessibility testing or remediation.
Important
Installing the widget does not by itself make a website WCAG compliant.
