Before running a scan
- Confirm the domain is verified.
- Confirm the required pages are available as Managed Pages.
- Check whether protected pages need Secure Scan Access.
- Confirm that anti-bot systems will allow the authorised scanner to reach the site.
What happens during a scan
AAI loads the selected pages and performs automated accessibility checks.
Detected failures are stored with page context and technical evidence so they can be reviewed and acted upon later.
After the scan
- Review the scan summary.
- Open individual pages for detailed evidence.
- Review automated test failures.
- Send uncertain items for human review where appropriate.
- Create Developer Actions for confirmed problems.
